Full New State Pension: 230.25 per week (11,973 per year). Requires 35 qualifying National Insurance years.
Basic State Pension (old system): 176.45 per week.
Pension Credit minimum: 218.15 per week for single people.
State Pension Age
Currently 66 for men and women. Rising to 67 between 2026 and 2028.

Filling NI Gaps
If you have gaps in your National Insurance record from unemployment or time abroad, you may be able to pay voluntary Class 3 contributions to fill them. An extended deadline applies for filling gaps from 2006-07 to 2016-17.
